Fostering is one of the most important, unselfish act someone can do to save a life.  It isn't always easy but always rewarding in the end.
Pound Hounds is a foster based rescue and we do not have a facility.  We do not have "EMERGENCY FOSTERS" nor do we use boarding facilities so you need to make sure you can commit to this endeavor, until the dog is adopted.  We require you to really think this through before committing to an animal.  
We know you cannot anticipate everything in life, but we do not have an alternate plan for this dog.  There is no changing your mind.
Fostering can take a short or long time, there is no 'average' time. 
​We cannot guarantee temperament once the dog is out of the shelter.
